DE L'ORIENT
Category: Penthouse
Le soleil scintillant du soir,
Le feu d'artifice étincelante,
Hidden inside the oriental ancient fragrance of the contemporary atmosphere,
A unique wine bar with a long huanghuali table in the early Qing Dynasty, the antique ceramic tiles sparkled like golden flakes. Gradually, a glass of white wine De Chevalier appeared, reminiscent of the scent of white flowers and aftertaste of jodhpur-red pomegranates, as though no time had passed.
The “living space” was a gallery that ran along the entire northern end of the house, with art deco divans, ancient Ming chairs, and an amazing “painting-table” made with oriental engraving technology. Under the swaying moonlight, right next to “the glass-Great Wall” surrounding the penthouse, a classic hammock was placed, and it has been crafted with traditional-painted-enamel (Émaux). Over various decorative accents, an original hand-painted scarlet tone named "Woman with a Necklace" by the legendary artist Henri Matisse, such as the balance note of Asian-Contemporary symphony. Boldness has been contained in many contemplations.
Visibly outside, a pure glass architectural geometric form with preserved tile roof structures that embodied modern taste and traditional spirits. It twinkled pensively with constellations in the cloudy mist.
Blurry, a row of Qin Dynasty wooden doors opened onto the wraparound veranda, inviting the view of verdant parklands from the city’s rooftop and the gentle scent of night-blooming milkweed into the room, while at the far end a pretty woman in the "robe sirène rouge" played on the Bösendorfer grand piano among the white camellia flowers.
The exotic potted olives in massive Qian-long dragon jardinieres that anchored the space, the coloré-shaded opaline émaux lamps that cast an amber glow over the lacquered mahogany surfaces. Every single object seemed imbued with a patina of timeless elegance, as if it had been there for more than a hundred years.
